Audience and performance
Vercel Web Analytics automatically measures visits when pages open, including internal navigation. Its statistics include the page, referral source, browser, device and approximate location. According to Vercel, measurement uses a request-derived identifier discarded after 24 hours, without third-party tracking cookies.

Vercel Speed Insights receives Web Vitals measurements with the page, device type, browser, operating system, country and connection information. This site removes query parameters and fragments from measured URLs and masks unknown paths. It adds no custom events and does not intentionally send form fields or wallet addresses to these two tools.

The form sends your name, email and message to the site server, then to EmailJS for delivery to my mailbox. The site creates no contact database or profile from these messages. The received copy remains in the mailbox for our correspondence. Submission limits use an IP address fingerprint held in memory and a counter per fifteen-minute window.
Public comments
When the service is available, comments, pseudonyms, selected quotations and dates are public immediately. No account or email is required. A key stored in your browser lets you remove your comments; Julien can also remove them. A temporary fingerprint of the network address is used to limit spam without publishing the address. Pseudonyms do not verify identity. Avoid posting sensitive personal information.
External services
Images are served by Cloudflare R2. Travel pages may request Mapbox maps when they become visible, without a prior click. Web3 tools query Alchemy and CoinGecko; wallet inspection sends the inspected public address to the RPC/NFT provider. NFT and token images may come from third-party domains. These connections disclose information such as your IP address to the relevant providers. The inspector never requests wallet secrets or private keys.
Your choices
You can browse the editorial pages and follow the RSS or Atom feeds without completing the form, sharing an email address or connecting a wallet. The site currently offers no newsletter sign-up. Content blockers may prevent Vercel measurements without blocking the main content.
